Just the teeniest sneak peek of Jane and Joe’s starry eyed day is up on the blog this afternoon. Two new wedding venues for me, in lovely Liverpool, the music room at the wonderful Philharmonic Hall and a reception just further down the road at the Everyman theatre.

I’m looking forward to sharing their full blog soon!

Well this was one gorgeous day.

It had been a few years since I was at Lower Damgate Farm, wedding venue and 20 acre animal rescue farm, and I was excited to return to this super pretty venue.

With dark clouds threatening overhead in the morning, and the weather forecast not being on our side, we were all a bit unsure about how the outdoor ceremony could go, but we didn’t see a drop of rain all day! I’m not sure we could have asked for nicer weather and I’m so glad as Carly and James really deserved the best for their day.

I think you’ll agree that they made such a stunning bride and groom.  Plus I loved how they included their much loved pooch Lola in the day, with her being walked down the aisle ahead of the bride and even coming to join them in their first dance for a cuddle.

If you’re an animal lover like me and fancy having some extra furry friend guests roaming around at your wedding then Lower Damgate Farm may be for you, just keep your bouquets away from the goats!

Thank you to Lisa at Blue Fox Photo for assisting me at this wedding.
