Ahh I’ve got such a wonderful wedding to share today! Katie and Tim (who you may recognise from their engagement shoot at Great Central Railway) were married in a church ceremony, during which their little daughter also had her Christening, before continuing on via a fabulous red double decker bus to their reception venue of Normanton-On-Soar, colourfully styled out with quirky props and fabrics by Orange Tree Weddings Nottingham, it looked amazing! Bride Katie wore a stunning vintage styled Maggie Sottero wedding dress, the detail on it was so beautiful. There were summer fete inspired games such as a coconut shy and hoopla (with a Nottingham Forest twist for groom Tim). Some of the games had even been handmade by Katie and her family. I loved their super cute wedding cake featuring Sylvanian Families characters representing Tim Katie and Edie their little girl. They also had a great alternative favours idea. Each guest’s place card on the table had a raffle ticket on the back and during the speeches, keeping with the summer fete theme, they raffled off some prizes which included cinema tickets, pizza express vouchers, and a cabbage!
Katie and Tim is was SO lovely to get to hang out with you guys again, thank you for having me, I hope you have a super duper happy life together as Mr & Mrs Howse!
