Wedding Highlights Video Swancar Farm

Fabulously tattooed bride Laura and rock musician husband-to-be Jonathan got in touch with me earlier this year after seeing one of my wedding highlights videos online. They had decided they wanted that something extra to remember their day by alongside their photographs.

They were married at Swancar Farm, a rustic country house and hotel venue in Trowell, Nottinghamshire.

Although a very ‘alternative’ couple on initial appearance, they went against expectations on their wedding day. With their tattoos, piercings, love of horror movies and rock music, they could have been expected to go down an unconventional route. However,  bride Laura told me how she had always wanted to go down a traditional route when it came to her wedding. Feeling like it was perhaps something her guests wouldn’t expect, she told me how she just wanted a traditional and romantic day.  I found that really sweet. She’s right, because you can’t beat simple good old fashioned romance!  And I love the fact that they didn’t feel pressured into having a more unconventional wedding.

They did their wedding their way, which is the main thing. Of course there was room for a bit of Disney/fairytale inspired wedding styling, which she had spotted on my blog earlier this year! (Also, Laura was rocking those Minnie Mouse ears).
