Rachel and David / Matlock County Hall Wedding / Ashover Parish Hall

I knew Rachel and David were my kind of people as soon as I met them at their engagement shoot, they’re just a pair of awesome, down to earth, genuinely lovely and completely loved up people! And I always love when people incorporate their loves into their day. Rachel is a self confessed proud cat lady and incorporated her love of all things feline in their reception venue styling.  The table centre-pieces were cardboard craft cats painted and labelled with the names of their own kitties past and present and a pair of ornamental cat salt and pepper shakers adorned the top of their wedding cake.
This wedding consisted of two new venues for me, Matlock County Hall and Ashover Parish Hall. The ceremony room of the County Hall was stunning, and the blank canvas of the Parish Hall in Ashover worked perfectly with the colourful d.i.y styling brought by the bride and groom through their flowers and bunting.
