Carly and Simon / West Mill Derby Wedding Photography

Carly and Simon were married at newly established wedding venue, The West Mill, Derby. Situated in Darley Abbey just a little outside Derby centre this venue is perfect for couples looking for something a little bit different and Simon and Carly knew on viewing that it was very them! Bride Carly looked like a vintage movie star in her bespoke dress which she helped to design herself. It contrasted fabulously with the quirky textured, industrial feel to the walls of the venue. I love getting to travel all over the country for my weddings, but sometimes it’s great to get to stay close to home too, and it’s fab to now have a quirky wedding venue for local brides and grooms to be. Emigrating to America after the wedding, it was a significant day for the couple not just for the legality of becoming husband and wife but to have a final get together with close family and friends before the move.
