PINIMAGESophie and Callum chose the location of the Nine Ladies stone circle in Stanton Moor Derbyshire, for their pre wedding shoot. I’d been to Stanton Moor with my own boyfriend a while back but we didn’t manage to actually find the circle, so it was nice to finally see it thanks to guides Callum and Sophie who were familiar with it having visited previously for a picnic or two! I’ve hung out with Sophie a few times now since she booked me as her wedding photographer as it turned out we had a fair bit in common (she also shares an interest in photography herself along with vintage style clothing, veggie food, and Adventure Time) plus she’s generally a cool lady and having now spent time with both Sophie and Callum together it was clear to see how well they compliment each other. Pretty much every photo of them together seemed to result in Sophie having such a big smile on her face. Engagement shoots are such an ideal time for me to get to know my couples better. Sophie and Callum will be getting married in Buxton later this year and I can’t wait! It’s sounding just as cool as the bride and groom to be :)
