I’m really excited to finally be able to share the results from our Twin Peaks styled shoot from earlier in the year. Get yourself some damn fine coffee and enjoy!
(Please check out the full list of the awesome and super talented suppliers involved in this shoot at the end of the post!)
We started off at the Kelso bar and private hire venue in Loughborough for some post ceremony coffee, donuts, and Twin Peaks themed cocktails! We chose the Kelso for its woodsy tones, which felt very Peaks, and eclectic decor. Plus it has cabin-esque diner style booths, perfect for some damn fine coffee!
She did her own make up with some classic black eyeliner and a red lip and Sarah of Pin Up Curl Derby completed the look with some Audrey inspired curls. Our model usually wears her above the shoulder length hair completely straight with a short blunt fringe. Sarah’s styling shows how brides can wear their hair styled completely differently on their wedding day if they find a hair stylist with the right skills.
Between our two venues some nearby woodland made a perfect calling spot for some wedding portraits amongst the pines. Our bride has changed into her second dress, a floor length green velvet gown, ready for her wedding reception.
On to our incredible Red Room styled reception at Hoton Village Hall, styled by the super talented Curious Magpie, Leicester. Julia wowed us with her red velvet curtain and chevron floored backdrop, absolutely perfect for any Twin Peaks themed wedding reception.
The black lodge is represented through the red and black base and the chevrons of the middle tier. Helen used a polished woodgrain effect for her top tier as seen in the Great northern. She finished off her design with edible handmade blue roses from the secret blue rose project.
All of the beautiful stationery in our shoot, from menus to invitations, was created by Nicky at With Love Wedding Stationery. Nicky has shown how to bring Twin Peaks inspiration to a wide range of stationery on your wedding day. Chevron coasters are a must for your Twin Peaks themed cocktails, and signs with iconic quotes from the series are a great way to tie the theme in to your reception. I love how she even created a Twin Peaks inspired food menu from quotes from the series.
