Rachel and Aaron were married at Friar’s Court in Oxfordshire. They had an outdoor ceremony and held their reception in a tipi on the grounds. For their colour scheme they chose grey with pops of yellow in the flowers, bride’s petticoat, and bridesmaids dresses, not forgetting the groom’s socks. Then there was the fist dance…WOW! Rachel and her friends were from a dance background and put together a routine together especially for the day which then lead into the bride and groom’s first dance, an homage to a routine from a certain film complete with the lift. It was so good! I still need to seek out a video of it from one of the guests to see it again.
The story behind Rachel’s wedding dress was so lovely. The lace was taken from her Mum’s own wedding dress and her Dad’s waistcoat was used for the waistband and detail inside as the dress was reversible for the evening. What a wonderfully personal item to wear for your wedding day. It was a beautiful way for Rachel have her Dad with her throughout the day and he would have been so proud.
It was such a lovely day with beautiful styling, heartfelt speeches, and a really awesome couple. Thank you for having me Rachel and Aaron!
