We’re heading to the grounds of the beautiful Wollaton Hall in Nottingham for today’s engagement shoot with Sian and James. They’ll be getting married at an amazing venue later in the year, the Eden Project in Cornwall, I’m so excited to capture my first wedding there!
Drummer David and Twin Peaks loving Becky were married in the super cute town of Bishop’s Castle in Shropshire. A cute colourful and quirky place I’d not visited before, I love how weddings take me to places I may not have even been aware of otherwise!
David was Best Man at a previous wedding of mine a couple of years earlier so it was lovely to see lots of familiar faces!
Their ceremony took place at the town hall & gallery before walking up to the Castle Hotel beer garden (with beautiful views of the countryside) for drinks and socialising with their guests.
I loved that bride Becky swayed away from tradition wearing the most sequinned of dresses for their special day. We got lots of sun too so she really got to sparkle!
I’ll always love a vintage inspired wedding, and I know a lot of you guys do too, so here’s some inspiration hitting the blog!
Vintage loving bride Nicola and her groom Jason were married at the stunning Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire followed by a reception at John Fretwell Complex in Sookholme.
From the amazing vintage car to the fit and flare pastel 50s style bridesmaids dresses, Nicola knew she wanted to bring some of that mid-century timeless class and style to her big day.
Thank you so much for having me capture your special day Nicola and Jason!
Overdue recap of 2019! (At least it’s still January, right!?)
Thank you so much to all my 2019 clients. Once again weddings took me to new towns and far corners of the country, but my personal highlight has got to be shooting my first destination wedding, and in Vegas no less!
2020 I’m excited for what you’ll bring!
