We’re heading to the seaside for today’s wedding – oh wait! No we’re not! We’re right in the middle of the country in Nottinghamshire!

That didn’t stop seaside loving couple Lucinda and Andy from bringing the seaside to them in their classic and pretty, with just the right amount of splashes of pastel blues and marine greens, into the styling for their big day.  From Lucinda’s stunning shell headband headpiece to that stunning beachy vibes wedding cake, so much thought had been put into the planning for this one so if you’re planning a seaside theme for your own big day get ready for some fab inspiration!

Thank you both so much for having me, being originally from a coastal city myself it was lovely to get those seaside vibes again for the day!

Lucinda and Andy were married at St Swithun’s Church in Woodborough, Nottingham, before continuing on to their reception at Chequers Inn, Woolsthorpe.

May the 4th be with you! I’m excited to share today’s bit of cuteness on the blog courtesy of Star Wars fans Sam and Charlotte. Self-professed geeks and proudly into their fandom which they’ll be incorporating into their wedding, we headed to Batman’s place, Wayne Manor, otherwise known as Wollaton Hall in Nottinghamshire for their pre-wedding engagement shoot session.  With it’s beautiful grounds and cute little nooks and outbuildings it’s a really good scenic spot and the Batman connection was just another tick for Batman fan Sam!

I’m super excited to be shooting their wedding at a beautiful venue up in Yorkshire later this Summer!

In February I was booked to cover two shows by Tickled Pink at the beautiful Leicester Guildhall, as part of Leicester Comedy Festival.  It was a lot of fun, I’d love to capture more comedy gigs!  It was great to also have time to grab a couple of quick portraits with the performers in the downtime between performances.

Thank you to Juditch Critchley of Tickled Pink for having me involved!

First up was Cheekykita’s solo show.  Even though it was one-woman show, her variety of characters made it feel like you were watching a surreal comedy sketch show with different people.
