Quentin Tarantino themed wedding with a pin up styled bridal party anyone?! Yeah this wedding was as stunning as it sounds! Emma and Gary chose to theme their wedding around their shared love of Tarantino films, and Emma brought her love of vintage style to her own look for the day and for her bridal party. She bought her wedding dress and her bridesmaids dresses from Vivien of Holloway and accessorised with fascinators created by bridesmaid Sara. Having previously done the legal bit at a registry office their the venue for the day, Rebellion, a rock bar in Manchester, was where the bride and groom first met! Having never hosted a wedding before, Rebellion made an exception for Gary and Emma due to their sentimental connection with the bar. The wedding car was a friend’s Ford Capri customised to resemble the car from Tarantino’s film Death Proof, and their wedding cake toppers were Funko Pop vinyl figures of Butch from Pulp Fiction (to represent Gary), and Kill Bill’s O-Ren Ishii (representing Emma), their closest lookalikes from the Tarantino Funko figures out there. Their venue and tables and were decorated by the couple themselves and named after Tarantino’s films, with their soundtracks playing in the venue throughout the day. Food for the evening was hot dogs, fries, and nachos made to order right outside the bar. To cover dessert, donuts along with wedding cake cupcakes frosted in the colours of the day, red and yellow. It really was a gorgeous today with seriously impressive and well thought out DIY styling by the newlyweds themselves. Thank you so much for having me along for the ride guys, three words for you, you’re so cool!
