Last week I photographed a very intimate wedding (8 people in total) in Baslow, Derbyshire. Ian and Emma were only after coverage for one hour, mainly to get some group images with family and friends to remember the day by.

Today I met up with two lovely ladies from Latvia, Madara and Datsa, for a shoot for an online magazine that Datsa produces. They were great fun and I love the colours we captured in some of these images.

Vintage Photography
Came across these wonderful vintage photographs/photo-cards in an antiques store in Matlock earlier. There was a box full of them but these two caught my eye. Managed to resist buying them to try and save pennies (even though I ended up then finding something else I liked and spending more than I would have on the photographs…), but I do love the style of them.

This photo-card however, I did buy, on an earlier visit to the same store. I just love it. She was a stage actress named ‘Jessie Bateman’ and this was her costume for a performance called ‘The Fairy’s Dilemma’. It would be wonderful to create some vintage style portrait shots like this of some of today’s modern performers.
