Carrie (a bride with 3 dresses!) and Simon’s stunning wedding featured a ceremony at Bakewell registry office followed by a humanist ceremony in a tipi at Carrie’s parents farm house. Full of lots of DIY touches, and with a cycling theme, it was a wonderfully quirky and informal day, even the rain didn’t dampen the mood with such colourful styling and a colourful fun couple behind it all.

Becca & Rocky were married at Bakewell Town Hall before heading through the Derbyshire town to where they then hopped on to a traditional double decker bus with their guests to Monsal Head. After a break at the picturesque spot for some bubbly and Bakewell tarts (of course!) they continued on for their reception in Wirksworth. Inspired by the groom’s Indian heritage, the hall venue had been well and truly DIY-ed out with wonderfully colourful decorations. With brightly coloured bunting and paper pom poms, not to mention all the wonderfully colourful flowers in abundance, it looked amazing!

The bride herself embraced the colourful theme, wearing a pink petticoat under her ’50s vintage style dress and bright pink heels!
