Katie and Harry chose a beautiful local park in Leicester for their pre-wedding shoot. We had a wander around this weekend and got some shots whilst talking about their big day this summer.
I can’t wait for their wedding at Swancar Farm later in the year, it sounds like it’s going to have lots of DIY touches and Katie’s going to be rocking some Irregular Choice wedding shoes.

I’m often reminded of how lucky I am to be chosen by such awesome people to shoot their wedding, my couples really are the best and have such wonderful personalities.  I had such a big smile on my face editing these and seeing so much happiness on the faces of everyone involved.Vicky and Michael made such an adorable couple, neither of them stopped smiling all day and it was lovely to see just how loved up they were with one another. Having been married before their main priority for the day was that it was enjoyable for them and their guests, not worrying too much about formal traditions, and wanting to do things relaxed and their way, which they certainly did.

Today I’m sharing some images from the beautiful Nottingham wedding of Clare and Krisja, who you may recognise from their Brighton engagement shoot. They’re an awesome couple and it was lovely to get to see them again and admire their fabulous vintage finds in their home! They were married at Nottingham town hall followed by a double decker ride to a reception at a nearby pub that they had really put their own stamp on with lots of diy decorations, garlands, and wonderful favours – wedding cake topper snow globes!

Frank and Jenny were married at the beautiful local venue of Callow Hall in Ashbourne, Derbyshire with just closest friends and family in their fairly intimate military wedding. They were married on Valentine’s Day, 3 years from when they’d got together, and incorporated the holiday into their day with lots of little touches including hanging hearts from their home used to decorate the venue, romantic sonnets for their table place names, and a ‘make your own valentine’s day card’ craft table set up for the children (or Adults!) in attendance. Jenny liked the idea of incorporating angelic elements and kept the styling mostly white, with her bridesmaids in neutral pale shades and choosing white roses for their flowers.
Jenny wore an absolutely stunning fishtail dress with lots of lace detailing. I really liked the little detailed add on of pretty lace tie on cuffs too. Frank, his best man, and Jenny’s brothers donned work uniforms, leading to their other styling theme. Frank and his best man both work in the arm so wore their military uniforms, with Frank in his formal dress uniform, with Jenny’s brothers in a navy and police uniform.
