“The shoot location is reminiscent of an American film set and I felt like a vintage film star. Make-up and hair skilfully and beautifully done with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Becky is effortlessly professional and a naturally talented photographer, knowing how to capture your best features. I instantly felt at ease. The experience was even more than I expected it to be. I’ve never felt I’m very photogenic before so thank you for taking such wonderful photos of me. Everything about the whole day was brilliant, it is now firmly etched into my happy memory bank!”

Hi everyone!

I’m currently thinking about the potential for a 4th event, next year, late Spring/early Summer. This will definitely happen if enough people want it to, so that’s where you come in!

  • It will be at the same amazing location just outside Nottingham, with appointments available running through both the morning and afternoon in order to suit as many people’s schedules as possible.
  • It will also likely be a Saturday again unless there is a strong interest in changing it to a week day.
  • There will be just 8 full makeover and shoot spots available at £265 and 1 shoot only space for a lady confident in doing her own hair and make up for £175 (previous Starlets receive a 15% discount)

“I can’t recommend the Starlet Suite highly enough! Due to the obvious skill of Becky, Bethany and Sarah, the friendly advice about styling and the comfortable atmosphere they create on the day, I would definitely do this again.
If any part of you has ever wanted to try it then you absolutely must, because any doubt you have will disappear as soon as you arrive and meet the wonderful women who have created the experience. The location was incredible and a wonderful part of the experience. Hair styling, make up and photography was professional and friendly, I wasn’t intimidated at all which I fully expected to be having never done something like this.
I utterly LOVE my photos!”

Yes! Count me in!

Wonderful, all you need to do is let me know that, date dependent, you’re on board!  The only way a forth Starlet Suite will be organised will be if you lovelies want it to, so drop me an e-mail, pop me a Facebook message, or fill in the Contact form on my website.  You can also join the mailing list to be kept in the loop.  At this stage I’m just wanting to see if enough people would definitely like to join us for another event.

I’ll likely offer the group that want to join us a couple of dates to choose from and the most popular one will be what we go for, so hopefully everyone that wants to join can make it!

If the response is strong enough to hold a forth event, I’ll be looking into booking our venue and securing a date over the next couple of months, and hopefully announcing it Oct/Nov (in time for Christmas for those that feel it’d be an ideal present from/for their partner).  To book your place we ask for a £100 deposit with the final £165 due on the 1st of the month prior to the shoot.

You can find more information, some before and after images of past Starlets and what they had to say over to the Starlet Suite page on my website.

I look forward to hearing from some of you future Starlets soon!

We’re off to a little village near Melton Mowbray today for a summery village hall wedding.
Sarah and Kaya were married at Great Dalby Church before continuing on to Long Clawson Village hall for their summer fete styled reception with outdoor games for their guests.  Huge dog lovers they decided they needed to have their own two furry friends play a part in their day. So, decked out in their own bow ties, they joined Sarah and Kaya for a confetti archway walk with a difference!

For their first dance song they chose Two Sleepy People by Bob Hope and Shirley Ross. They explained that this was a song that Kaya has always liked to sing to Sarah. Also, just a little note for brides and grooms to be…during the morning of the wedding there was a little bit of worry over a technical issue with their digital track, but, having mentioned taking their own record player and records to the village hall for the afternoon, we decided that playing the song on vinyl instead as an alternative option, could actually be really nice! So that’s what they did, and the moment of Kaya walking over to start the turntable and then taking her new bride’s hand seemed to fit the era of the music perfectly. So sometimes, little things that may or may not have gone quite to plan, actually, work out even better.

Thank you, Sarah and Kaya, for having us along for your wonderful day!

Don’t forget to hit HD!

(Thank you to Lisa Dams of Blue Fox Photo for assisting me at this wedding.)
