PINIMAGEToday on the blog I’m sharing a small preview of Nick and Corinna’s beautiful Winter wedding at Derby’s The West Mill. Corinna really looked like a Hollywood movie star in her beautiful vintage-esque dress and make up. Making the other half of this stunning couple, groom Nick wore a deep blue suit perfectly complimenting the red accents in the flowers for this December wedding. This was a wonderfully Wintery wedding and I’m looking forward to sharing the full set!

John and Rebecca were married at All Saint’s Church, Colbar, a church that they had both been attending whilst at a nearby college together (where they first met!) Both involved in the church, it was important for the couple to have a traditional church of England ceremony. Rebecca wore such a stunning dress and veil with beautiful detail to the lace across the mesh neckline, and a set of pearls tied it altogether perfectly. I knew from their pre-wedding shoot that John was into his suits and going to make a very dapper groom too! They held their reception a short drive away at the Rutland Arms Hotel in nearby Bakewell where they had a ‘bell’ theme (their new marital name) with tables named after famous bells (Tinkerbell, Jingle Bells…) and cute gold glitter bells making up the centre pieces. Both venues were new ones to me but I always love returning to Bakewell, it’s such a pretty town! For the evening’s entertainment they had booked a great vintage swing band by the name of Benny Lee and the Whistle Stop Five. They didn’t fail to get the dance floor filled. It was really fun for me to be able to capture the fabulous atmosphere in that room to round off the night.

TERMS
Winners must be available to get to the venue for a timed appointment between 9am and 5pm on January 21st 2017 (appointment times will be arranged nearer the date). Failure to arrive on time would result in the prize being forfeited due to the scheduled nature of the day.
Becky will shoot you in various locations on the property and you will receive a selection of watermarked images via an online gallery link from which you can choose one full res file to be sent to you via e-mail. You can purchase as many additional files or prints as you wish but this is not compulsory.
In order to enter you must ‘like’ the Becky Ryan photography Facebook page for Facebook entries and be following the @beckyryanphoto account on Instagram for instagram entries. The winner will be chosen at random on December 30th from all those that shared the post on Facebook or Instagram (sharing on both would equal 2 entries), you can also share the images as many times as you like up till midnight on December 29th for additional entries. If the post is shared privately/friends only or from a private instagram account we unfortunately won’t be able to see your share to add you to the entries for the competition. (You can however simply set your instagram to public just while the competition is running and set it back to private after the closing date). On Instagram you must share the image using the hashtag #beckyryanvintageshoot On Facebook you must share the image directly from the Becky Ryan Photography Facebook page
If you have already booked a place for the event you can still enter for the opportunity to have your place refunded in exchange for the prize above.

EMAILPOSTFacebookPOSTTweetPOSTSubscribeFollowing on from a recent natural family shoot at home with one of my previous bride and grooms, Clare and Krisja, it was lovely to revisit another of my previous couples in November to capture the little blue eyed update in their story, Erik!
We started at their home in Nottingham with some family cuddle time and capturing some natural shots with Erik on his playmat and in his cot before continuing on to their lovely local coffee shop, Buonissima.
My family portraits are very much about capturing natural photographs of family interactions. It’s so nice to be able to continue to capture their stories and help to document what will become treasured memories in future years.
